I'm 12 weeks 1 day pregnant and in my NT scan nasal bone is unossified came what does this actually mean

A. the absence of the nasal bone or its hypoplasia is one of the sonographical markers for helping the diagnosis of Down's syndrome. the nasal bone is absent in 60-70% of the fetuses with Down's syndrome and 2% of normal fetuses in 11-14 weeks ultrasound.

A. how is ur baby now...for me also at 12 weeks unosiffied nasal bone...

A. Absent nasal bone or unossified nasal bone was found to be associated with 58 genetic syndromes and Trisomy 18 and 21.
