I kid is 1 years and 2 months old now. I still breast feed him daily. My periods have become irregular and number of days between subsequent periods has increased to 40-45 days. Should I consult a doctor or is it normal during breast feeding. Till how long should I continue to breastfeed

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom U can continue to breast feed ur baby till two years as long as u and ur baby are comfortable. Secondly There is irregularity of periods after delivery due to the hormonal changes. Once u stop breastfeeding the periods will become normal and regular
