Q.

I just saw a little lump on back of right side of neck. Is it harmful?

A. they are lymph nodes and are part of normal human body. you have to take any intervention and meet your doctor only if they are causing paain as well as they are increasing in size. many times during infection they will increase in size and they will again decrease in size when the infection gets controlled.

A. hi dear Most lumps found in a child's neck are enlarged lymph nodes caused by an infection. Lymph nodes are part of the immune system and help rid the body of harmful bacteria, viruses, and other causes of irritation or infection. There are 200 to 300 lymph nodes in the back of the nose, throat, and neck.
