Q.
i just gave 6 weeks vaccination to baby, she slept for 2 hours & now is crying inthink she is hungry but she is not taking the feed she is not sucking at all

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothing to worry. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomenttation locally and paracetamol can be given for fever or pain. Thrombophobe oihintment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .
