A. it is important to prevent mosquito bite by using other mosquito nets and the second option would be mosquito repellent vaporizer. there are also available cloth roll on. you can apply mosquito repellent cream on the skin if it is not causidng any allergy. make the child wear full clothes to decrease the chances of bite and if a bite occurs you can apply coconut oil to decrease the sensation. also can use atarax anti itch lotion/ ritch lotion to decrease itching.

A. It sounds like your son, Master Musa, is experiencing a significant reaction to mosquito bites, which is not uncommon in young children. The swelling and redness you're describing, sometimes resulting in a blister-like appearance, could be due to his skin's sensitivity to mosquito saliva. Here’s what you can do: 1. **Cool Compress**: Apply a cold compress or ice pack (wrapped in a cloth) to the bite area for about 10 minutes. This can help reduce swelling and discomfort. 2. **Topical Creams**: - **Hydrocortisone Cream**: You can apply a mild hydrocortisone cream to reduce itching and inflammation. Use it sparingly, as directed by a pediatrician. - **Calamine Lotion**: This can soothe the skin and provide relief from itching. - **Antihistamine Cream**: If the reaction is severe, an antihistamine cream or oral antihistamine (like cetirizine syrup, as advised by your pediatrician) may help reduce the allergic reaction. 3. **Avoid Scratching**: Try to prevent your child from scratching the bites, as this can lead to infection. Keep his nails trimmed short. 4. **Infection Signs**: Keep an eye on the bites. If they start oozing, become more swollen, or if your child develops a fever, it may indicate an infection, and you should seek medical advice immediately. 5. **Mosquito Repellents**: - **Baby-Safe Repellents**: To prevent future bites, you can use mosquito repellents that are safe for babies. Look for ones containing Picaridin or oil of lemon eucalyptus. - **Mosquito Nets**: Use mosquito nets over his crib or stroller to protect him from bites, especially during peak mosquito times (dawn and dusk). If his skin reaction seems severe or doesn't improve with these treatments, or if you’re concerned about the appearance of the bites, it's best to consult a pediatrician for further advice.
