Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc.
Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common.
Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 months to increase the appetite.
Diet counselling is also very important .Post pregnancy weight loss is a major concern in almost every female .
Because of the hormonal changes post delivery there may be laxity of the muscles and fat content increase.
You should not worry just do some calorie restriction specially for sugar and fat which should be avoided in excess and do regular exercise for muscle strengthening which should be gradually increased . Also take plenty of liquivgds and give proper breastfeeding to the baby which will also be beneficial in management of the weight .
