Q.

I have small nipples. my 4 weeks baby is not able to latch the nipples for breastfeeding. I am using nipples shields so that my baby can have breastmilk from my nipples as hand expressing is not possible for every meal. is it normal and please suggest me what shall I do to solve this problem.

A. hi dear If you have a bump or pimple on your nipple that is swollen, painful, or changes quickly, make an appointment to see your doctor. These are signs of nipple complications. Bumps that appear alongside a redness or rash could indicate a yeast infection or, in rare cases, breast cancer. better to consult doctor immediately
