Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. regular cough and cold in children are most commonly associated with allergy which might be due to weather changes on temperature variations.
many times simple cough and cold is followed by secondary infections.
it is very common that children will have a refcurrent cough and cold as well as fever before 5 years of age and after that a proper immunity is developed and then this problem will gof away.
get the child vaccinated for flu vaccine which will again help in decreasing this problem
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. The best defense against the common cold is commonsense precautions and frequent hand-washing.
Keep your baby away from anyone who's sick. ...Wash your hands before feeding or touching your baby. ...Clean your baby's toys and pacifiers often. ...Teach everyone in the household to cough or sneeze into a tissue.
