Q.

I have low milk supply.. I am giving only brest milk to baby.. how would I know if she is getting sufficient milk and if I have to introduce formula how much it should be. my baby is one month old

A. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding. meet the doctor for weight assessment. if the above criteria isx achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake. there is no need to go for outside milk if the above criteria is met successfully if the groxwth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child

A. if at all you need to increase breast milk supply.. please add oats, garlic , milk bread, egg, meat to ur meal . try everyday anyone of these and see the difference.

A. hello if baby is gaining a minimum of 120 g to 150 g per week means the baby is getting sufficient breast milk if not then then you can even express and see and incase the milk is not sufficient then give baby infant formula milk stage 1 using a bpa free bottle like Babyhug
