Q.
I have given vaccine to my child today so his leg is swollen and there is a lot of crying due to swelling please suggest me

just put a piece of wet cloth over the vaccinated areas. And keep steady the leg as possible as. Give paracetamol doses.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 tzimes per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes zof fever

use ice cube wrapped in the cotton cloth to rub over the affected area gently twice a day for some seconds
it's the best remedy
if this doesn't solve the issue please consult your pediatrician
