Q.

I have breast abscess I got to know yesterday, still can I feed my daughter from the affected breast? I extract the milk by hand and it’s just pure milk nothing else comes out And what is the higher antibiotics for the same?

A. Breast abscesses are most common in women who are breastfeeding. You can usually continue to breastfeed your baby in spite of a breast abscess. It will not harm your baby. If your doctor advises you to stop breastfeeding on the affected breast
