Q.

I have been breast feeding my baby using nipple shield, due to severe nipple cracking. the baby does not latch well despite multiple attempts.Baby is 3m and he is feeding very well with nipple shield and has good weight gain. can I continue to feed with nipple shield for 6m-1yr?

A. yes you can continue to use them for your child but see that the child is comfortable as well as you have to maintain hygiene of the nipple shield you are using because it can be a source of fungal infection sometimes

A. hello if baby is finding it difficult to latch via nipple shield then you may expres your milk using Babyhug breastpump and feed the same using a bpa free bottle and to prevent the cracked nipples u may apply Moms co natural nipple butter cream
