I have baby of 7 months old. I do breastfeed along with solid food. Today I had my periods after my c section after 7.5 months. But I heard you cannot get periods while you are breastfeeding. is it true? Is getting my periods in breastfeeding period normal?

A. dear the time of resumption of periods can vary greatly a breastfeeding mother may get back her periods anytime from 4 to 6 weeks to even after one year. on an average if mother has exclusively breastfeed her baby till 6 month complete then gets back her period after 6 to 8 months.
