I have baby boy who is 3 months old and his fart smells sometimes. Can the fart smell?

Radha RaghuMom of a 2 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. my baby is 1 month 7 days old. i guess he has some gas problem. he make potty with lot of fart sound. I'm giving him colicaid drops daily 2 times. and he is also making potty 2 or 3 times a day. but if he didn't make potty in morning or evening then he will cry because of gas problem. if he do farts then he will be okay. some time he will struggle to make potty, he wil be making some sounds for 1 or 2 hours to make potty.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is 3 months of age naturally baby will be farting lot of gas sometimes it will be smelling also you can give neopeptine drops to the baby 0.5 ml 2 times a day

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good morning it is a little strange because usually children have very common gastric problem at this age however it should not be smelling it could be indication that the baby might be having in digestion the mother should monitor her diet carefully
