Q.

I have a preemie, she is now 4 months old, her birth weight is 1750 now her present weight is 5300. she is active and healthy and reach all milestones like full term babies. she is completely fed on breastfeeding only. Is her weight is equal to normal babies or not?

A. weight gain is good for baby babies should be double the birth Weight at 4-6 months and three times the birth Weight at completing one year after six months you can give weight gain foods as potato sweet potato ragi Dalia banana dry fruits in paste or powdered form ghee butter cheese in moderate amount
