Q.
I have a nipple blister on my right brest .can I apply mupimet ointment on that since I am a breastfeeding mother .

Dr Rashmi SriramMom of a 9 yr old girl4 years agoA. hi there is definitely no harm in applying mupirocin but the cause for blistering is important. It is better to go for direct examination for proper diagnosis and treatment. It can be due to candidal infection too

U Definitely applied but just clean it properly before you breastfeed the child these pimples are really very painful so you once I get a check with your doctor and go for some antibiotics or medicine to sort it down otherwise it’s going to be tired really time consuming to settle it
