Q.
I have 5 months old baby girl. my in laws said that start giving her cow milk and I don't want to give her. I think breastfeeding it's good for her. what should I want to do? it's okay to start giving her cow milk or not?

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician2 years agoA. no not advisable Cows milk or buffalo s milk can be given from 1 year of age till then it's advisable to get ve breast milk or formula feed you can also add sugar or dry fruit powder in the milk after 1 year

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. Yes, you should breastfeed the child at least for six months to 1 year. If you have a good amount of her also animal milk is not recommended before the age of one year so you can tell your in-laws the same yet if they force you you can make them talk to your paediatrician. They will clear all the doubts for them.
