Q.
I have 17 days Premature baby boy( 32+5 weeks). During birth weight was 1900 grams and today baby weight is 2000 grams. Is this the right time to give direct breest feeding or should we continue providing mother milk using breest pump.

Dr Javed HussainFather of 2 children3 years agoA. Even if you are using the breast pump every now and then try to breast feed the baby. If the baby is able to latch and suck then continue or continue offering the pampered milkWrite Your Answer Here

Shruti SuranaMom of a 12 yr 1 m old boy3 years agoA. hi dear parent..baby is still underweight... and won't be able to suck as of now ...continue the pump method. please consult your doctor for proper diagnosis.. as doctor will be better person to guide you on this
