Q.
I have 11 month baby 10 days back she got cold with voice change and cough after giving antibiotic syrup and levocitrizine syrup she recovered in 2 days but from that time she had little sound in her throat area when she was cough or cry ..I can't understand the situation ..is it normal

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. you may continue the same medication for some more days Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby
