Q.

I had a normal delivery with a vaginal tear. I delivered on August 31. It’s almost 27 days and the stitches are still healing and might take some more time. What must be the reason ?? Any tips for quick heal

A. Hello mum every process has its the timing after delivery normally it is the said for a new mother 40 days the rest is very important it must be due to the reason that after delivery you need at least a 40 days to get back to normal so there is nothing to get in hurry take proper rest proper diet and look after your baby after 40 days you will have to get back to normal

Q. HI Doctor, My wife gave birth to a baby girl on 10th Dec. It was a normal delivery with perennial stitches. She also had a perennial tear after around a week of delivery for which our gynec suggested taking Metrogyl ER 600 tablet twice for a week. It has been 23 days now and the stitches have not healed properly. Also, the tear seems to be still there but it has healed 60% of it. She also has minor bleeding seen mostly in the morning. Do the stitches and tears take long to heal completely?
