Q.

i got fever for 2 days once it cure i was suppose to travel out of country i got RTPCR test covid positive report .. i am isolated my self now i dont have anyother symptoms.. i am fine .. il breast feed my 1 year baby .. remaining time il stay away from her .. but yesterday she had runny nose mild fever i gv her colpol 0.5ml fever not there but runny nose .. how to take care babies

A. hi Omicron variant is likely to be more infective and spread easily. Its symptoms are cough fatigue runny nose congestion. Children show predominantly upper respiratory tract infection likr fever, runny nose, throat pain, body ache , dry cough. It is recommended to wear a mask regardless of the vaccination status and maintain social distancing. use of sanitizer is recommended .Consult your doctor who will examine the baby and will advise you with further management and investigations if any required because without examination it is difficult to comment on the current situation
