Q.

I give my one year old cow's milk indirectly. I make kheer or morning breakfast with cow's milk. So will meet his daily requirements of milk? Or do I have to give him as a drink? He is breast feeding.

A. Hello dear The cow milk is not compulsory and some parents even choose to completely avoid cow milk from the diet. But you have to make sure to give same nutrients through other foods

A. Hello dear parent! It can be given in kheer form but it is just that too much of sugar is not advisable. Give your baby a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated all through the day. Gradually include all food groups in your child’s diet that is staple in your family.
