Q.

I gave my 2 yrs daughter a fever medicine (prescribed dose as per age) and she vomited withing 10 ms.. even little food also came out should I repeat the dose ?

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . Doctor consultation should be done if symptomfs like excessiveg irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

A. Hello mom No you should not repeat the doses at all because some amount of medicine has already gone inside so you don’t have to worry and you have to give a medicine only in a particular time gap. And always check the temperature before giving medicine to your baby Happy parenting Stay home stay safe
