Q.

I exclusively breastfed for 5 months. After that my son refused to feed from me so I started giving him my milk through bottle. But Not my feed is almost nil. Is it possible to increase milk supply now and if yes how ?

A. The key is to feed frequently which will inturn increase your milk supply. If not directly atleast frequent pumping. Milk secretion increases based on demand. So more and more your baby sucks or tries to feed ur milk supply will increase. Garlic or Garlic milk, fenugreek seeds, nuts, oats, green leafy vegetables, ridge gourd, bottle gourd, pumpkin, pulses. Including these in your daily diet can increase milk supply. Also check with your gynecologist and get some supplement like galact granules prescribed. It can also increase breastmilk.
