Q.

I delivered my second baby (girl) on 8th Jan baby weight is 2.53 kg. from past one week she's pooping like this, I've consulted my pediatrician also, he said it's normal... but every day she's pooping with gas and watery texture...

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where sfgymptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade tfever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

A. Hello dear parent! As long as baby is healthy and active, no blood or foul smell in the stools there is nothing to worry. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand. Keep your doctor informed about any changes or concerns
