Q.
i deleivered a baby boy at 35 weeks . he was born with 3.255 kg weight . but he aspirate blood while delivery . he was on ventilator for 5 days and then on nicu 10 days. and his weight was 3.180 kg on discharge. but he looks very weak and thin ? why ?

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist1 Year agoA. Hello mom normally also the baby would loose some weight after they are delivered , and gradually they start to put on weight as well. not to worry he is been monitored

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello if the baby is gaining a minimum of 120 grams to 150 grams per week then it is a good weight gain and make sure the baby is getting sufficient BM and if it is not then you can alternatively give your child infant formula milk stage 1 using a BpA free bottle like babyhug
