Q.
I am trying to give my daughter a pacifier when she starts thumb sucking, but she is refusing it. i have a long 15 hr non stop flight coming up, i read suckin onto a nipple helps a baby in flight. Is it too late to introduce her to pacifier now? or should I try another brand?

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician4 years agoA. high parent U 6 months old, you are about to take a long flight, you may directly breastfeed that child while taking on the flight and landing theh flight as they are more prone for pressure changes

Hello ma’am I must tell you mam pacifier is never Ever recommended for a child as it is a filthy addiction and it can really affect the mouth like in terms of gums or teaching and all these things so don’t give it if you have a long flight to take then Then do it is okay but you cannot give pacifier to your child if your child is sucking the thumb for awhile it’s okay but no pacify
