my baby has a thumb sucking habbit...how to stop it

A. Hai good afternoon !! Thumb sucking is seen in few infants due to habituated to bottle feed ,pacifier . They used to either of bottle feed nipple or pacifier keep thumb as a habit. Simply engage in activities puzzles,blocks,holding toys ,playing with toys ,peek a boo,sorting toys,showing colourful toys or fruits,vegetables,flowers ..helps in touch,vision sensory developments. Engaging them makes withdrawing the habit of thumb sucking.
