Q.

I am planning to go for work when my baby is at 4 month. I like to continue breastfeeding at the same time. Advice me. Whether can I give both formula and breastmilk to my baby?

A. Breast milk can be kept safely at room temperature (77 degrees Fahrenheit or colder) for up to four hours, in an insulated cooler with ice packs for 24 hours, in the refrigerator for up to four days, and frozen for up to six to 12 months (though using it within six months is best).
