Q.

I am nursing my new born baby by expressing milk through an electric pump. My baby is drinking milk on an average 3-4 hrs once. so accordingly I am pumping my milk on demand. does this reduce my milk supply or else do I need to express every 2 hrs to maintain milk supply constantly?

A. No in fact I would like to tell you that when you already have a good supply and you express the feed the body makes more feet because the more you feed the body gets a signal that more is required so it is going to prepare good amount of milk and generally you should work upon your diet also so that your milk is healthy for the child
