Q.

I am not giving salt to my baby, he is 8months plus. What can I add to his food to replace salt?

A. You can add salt now and even Himalayan pink salt can be used in cooking meals of the baby as it is also safe to be used taje care and stay safe

A. hi dear Babies need only a very small amount of salt: less than 1g (0.4g sodium) a day until they are 12 months. Your baby's kidneys can't cope with more salt than this. Before your baby is six months old, he will get all the sodium he needs from breastmilk or infant formula milk.
