Q.

I am mother of 4 months old child. She is not taking my feed and I started giving her cow milk. She is taking excessive milk now. Is it normal or not

A. Is it suiting the child's tummy? It is recommended not to give packet milk or cows milk or any other animal milk until baby is one year old. It will be harsh for the baby's still developing digestive system. If u cannot breastfeed due to various reasons you can consult with your pediatrician and start formula for your baby. Also Babies under six months take on an average around 750 ml to 900ml per day split up into seven to nine feeds based on their appetite. If it's more than this consult with your pediatrician once.
