Q.
I am mother of 1 year old baby.After cesearian I got my first period after 9 months of delivery.Its 3 months over I didnt get my period so I went to checkup they told me to scan.In scan report ovarian dermoid cyst found. Scaning doctor told he have doubt he want to do again scan ..but i didnt do...delivery doctor told me no need of scan now..beacause i had little bit of periods that time.dot dot period is going.what to do please suggest me.is there any problem of dermoid cyst

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. better to get the repeat scanning since it is a important and serious issue Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination of the baby physically and if there is need to do any investigations if required

They're almost always benign, but can twist or rupture. Large dermoid cysts may cause uncomfortable symptoms, in which case Dr. Tajzoy may recommend surgical removal.
