I am having a fever and cough, I am 9days old baby. Can I breastfeed my baby.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. if u are having cold and cough take medicine and you can give feeding to the baby according to the symptoms it is advised to get a proper physical examination done which would be helpful for the doctor to to find out the the treatment for further management consult dr.

You can safely breastfeed your baby. But tey to keep baby from germs by avoiding face to face contact, washing hands regularly. Also wear a mask or sneez in a tissue is possible.
