I am having a fever and cough, I am 9days old baby. Can I breastfeed my baby.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. if u are having cold and cough take medicine and you can give feeding to the baby according to the symptoms it is advised to get a proper physical examination done which would be helpful for the doctor to to find out the the treatment for further management consult dr.

Aditi BhattMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hi mom, You can safely breastfeed your baby. But tey to keep baby from germs by avoiding face to face contact, washing hands regularly. Also wear a mask or sneez in a tissue is possible.
