Q.

I am giving lactodex hmf to my 3.4 kg baby ( 2.5 month old born prematured with 1.7 kg weight). should I stop giving him lactodex hmf since it is for low weight infants?

A. You can continue feeding thus formula milk only for atleast 5-6 months or till the time you introduce semi solid foods in baby's diet. At 2.5 months baby can weigh between 5.5 to 6 kgs if birth weight us normal. Though, your baby's weight gain is good, it needs to be increased a bit more for further healthy development and to achieve growth milestones on time.
