Q.

i am breastfeeding as well as formula feeding my 16 days baby as only breastfeeding is not satiating my baby's hunger. how much formula should be fed at once for a 16 days baby. it is usually 1 scoop in 30 ml water, should I increase it to 2 scoops in 60 ml? baby has not gained weight in these 16 days.

A. yes 30ml for every scoop Mother's milk is complete food for the baby . The initial portion is watery that takes care of hydration and the later portion that is creamy and rich in facts will provide then necessary nutrition. So there is no need to give even water . Try to exclusively breastfeed the baby for first 6 months after birth.
