i am breastfeed mom of 6 month 17days baby boy can i take covixin or covishield?

A. hi, Recent guidelines says lactating mothers can also take covid vaccine . Both the vaccines, covaxin n covishield given by the government are completely safe for breastfeeding lactating and pregnant women. if you experience any symptoms like fever, body pains, headaches, joint pains then take paracetamol .

A. Yes You can take any of the vaccination that you are willing to take also if you feel that you’re perfectly healthy after the vaccination with no side-effects like fever or anything then you can continue breastfeeding the child but if you do feel any side-effect then you should not be feeding the breast feed
