Q.

I am a working mother. I go at 9am and reach home around 7 pm. My baby is a breatfed baby. But now i breastfeed her only from evng 7pm till next day 9 am that too on demand. Is my baby getting less milk ??

A. Weaning has three stages in which it can be started . stage 1 consists of introduction of liquids and solid food which shall be done at 5 to 6 months of age and needs to be started gradually step by stegp . stage 2 consists of more textured and new taste to baby by 7 months of age stage 3 in which a more variety of food can be started by 9-12 monthsv of age...

A. A 10-month-old baby should be drinking at least 24–32 ounces of breast milk or formula every 24 hours. If you divide this between four nursing sessions, it is about 6–8 ounces each time. Even if your baby is eating more solid foods, keep offering them the appropriate amount of breast milk or formula.
