Q.

I am a second time mom of two months old kid during my breast feeding if my breast are full I don’t feel any pain or burning on my nipple if my breasts are not full I feel burning sensation on my nipple and pinched or lipstick shape nipple does it mean low milk supply or poor latching plz find me a solution

A. this can be due to improper attachment as well as due to decreased breast milk. exclusive breastfeeding has to be continued till completion of 6 months of age and you have to drink plenty of water and at least 500 ml milk everyday as well as homemade food from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits daily e as well as you can go for shatavari supplement which will also help in increasing the breast milk formation (eg lactonic granules, galact granules etc ) also take multivitamins iron calcium and vitamin d along with folic acid. follow all this steps to increase breast milk formation.
