Q.

I am a mother of 2 n half month baby. My baby is gaining a weight of around 100 gms per week. She was 3.1 kgs at birth. Now she is 3.9 kgs. She's healthy and active. She's urinating almost more than 15 times in 24 hours. She doesn't feed soon and takes a longer time. My only concern is her weight gain. Please advise whether I should consider formula feeding. Does a baby urinating so many times falls short of breastmilk? Or is it normal?

A. Hello dear parent! It is advisable to check with your doctor regarding this. After a property valuation, your doctor will be able to advise you accordingly. Continue breastfeeding your baby Well on demand. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy

A. Babies gain weight atleast 300 to 500 grams in a month. 15 urine count sign says baby is well hydrated. it's normal for babies to pass urine so many times since can't hold much so they urinate. Continue ur breastfeeding and don't stress on it
