Q.

I am a breast feeding mom . It’s my 7th week of feeding . I’m having hard lump under my right breast which is painful to touch . Is it normal ?

A. Sometimes, when breastfeeding, a milk duct in the breast can become blocked. This may cause a small, painful, hard lump. Gently massaging the lump towards the nipple before feeding can help clear it.
