I am 5 months pregnant and currently suffering from cold n flu my dr suggested me to take Alex cough cyrub but when I googled side-effects it's not recommended in pregnancy.... suggest me if I can take this cyrup

Antiviral medications work best if you take them within two days of getting sick. The sooner you're treated, the safer you and your baby will be.
