Q.

I am 38 weeks pregnant and I have gestational diabetes. My fasting sugar is 136 and post prandial blood sugar is 91.What causes sugar to rise during fasting? Will there be any complications with my delivery? Will the baby have any problems?

A. Ma’am sometimes what happens is what we are eating and the kind of diet we are following can lead to these issues simply so if the sugar and BP levels are normal by the time you are in labour then of course you can have a normal delivery but whatever the situation is at that time their doctor is going to take a call accordingly
