Q.

I am 35 weeks pregnant. For about two weeks I have pain and swelling in my vagina. I also have UTI infection. I am taking medicines but my pain is not reducing. Is there any danger to the child from this?

A. Urine infection is not a good sign during pregnancy. Yes, it may sometimes lead to preterm delivery. So you should get proper examination done with your doctor and take the required precautions and medicines to be taken

A. Hello dear! Do not panic. Consult your doctor for further evaluation and advice if the problem is persistent. Maintain a good personal hygiene and follow a healthy lifestyle. Good luck and take care
