Q.
I am 22 weeks pregnant and my cervix length is 29 mm. doctor suggest me total bed rest. I am afraid that if I stand for long and sit for long time it leads to pre mature delivery. is it possible? or I need to do a total bed rest.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist2 years agoA. that's scenario is possible when you have cervical and competence but 29 mm is a good length and make sure that you ask your doctor if you have any other high risk factors because you can be at ease if the length is more than 25 mm otherwise
