I am 16 weeks pregnant. Doctor have prescribed me Rantac 150 tablet. Is it safe and can be used for the long term?

No I don’t think so you can take it for a longer time it is only if your doctor has advised you can only take it till the time the issue is there you should be using it further more I do not think it’s a very healthy option for you to go ahead with any ways to take it on a regular basis
