Q.
I am 15 weeks pregnant, my doctor advised to take calcium and iron tablets, but iron tablet (Autrin-XT) is not suiting me, I am having vomiting and black stool. What should I do? Should I consult my doctor? or is it normal? Also wanted to know is it true that on taking iron supplements the colour of the baby becomes dark?

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. there is nothing like that the stool colour can become dark when babies on iron supplement however complexion remains unaffected so don't worry about that. . . . . . .
