Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. whenever you are planning to stop breastfeeding you have to decrease the frequency of breastfeeding gradually and at the same time we have to increase the amount of outside milk as well as milk products that you can give it to the child and this process is also known as winning and at the night time you will have to make the child sleep with some other person so that the child doesn't see the mother and this will also help in decreasing the breast feeding at night

Take the help of your spouse to engage your child. In the mean time start giving outside milk like cow milk or buffalo milk or any packet milk. Limit the milk intake to maximum of 500ml per day. Give your baby a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated.
