A. Ear should be only cleaned superficially and gently by an ear bud when the baby is sleeping  Don't try to clean deeply by yourself as it can cause injury so consult your doctor for that . if your baby is continuously rubbing the ear or there is any sign of pain when you should consult ENT specialist for this for proper clinical ex;samination till then you should maintain good hygiene. do not let the soap water of bathing and the breast milk or secretions during feeding enter into the ear canal to ensure proper hygiene.

A. Hi, please do not clear the wax manually that is with the hand. You can use drops which is suggested by your paediatrician. Please consult your paediatrician also if the issue is persisting and baby is getting ear pain due to the wax then it is better to consult a ENT ones.
