ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist8 years agoA. tummy fat requires overall weight and fat loss. have a positive frame of mind and achieve weight loss by persistent and motivated efforts have active lifestyle and after consultation with doctor exercise at least 45-60 minutes daily. , Brisk walking is the safest, abdominal strengthening exercise like pelvic tilts, crunches help to tone muscles. reduce your calorie and fat intake for weight loss, Avoid consuming traditional high fat and sugar lactational foods like panjiri ladoo have healthy fats from flaxseed, nuts, oats, have fibre rich vegetables and fruits, have whole grain cereals and Atta Take good protein from egg, pulses, soya, beans low fat milk and Milk products avoid refined flour, processed fried, sugary food and drinks. don't Store or buy junk snack on healthy foods like fruit , nuts, sprouts and salad cut salt intake don't skip meals and breakfast. divide food intake into 6 small meals per day drink lot of water. Visit a certified nutrition consultant/dietitian for a detailed plan Continue exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months as it helps in weight loss after pregnancy. avoid any kind of overeating for example finishing leftover of child sleep for at least 7 hours a day avoid late night snacking and late dinner
